One of the things I love helping busy families with is getting ahead of the school-week grind.
Last week I visited one of our local farmer’s markets. It’s located on the grounds of an old plantation that’s been turned into a sight-seeing and locale for many events. And with all of the local farmers and artists, it was even more magical. Spring, in our little Southern town, means that Azaleas decorate most […]
Christmas means cookies. it means lots of other sweet things, too. but today, for us, it meant cookies. after playing with a few recipes, and mixing things up a bit, i came up with a ‘sugar’ cookie that i think you’ll approve of. and you won’t feel guilty allowing your children to indulge in these […]

these muffins are probably the best banana bread/muffins i’ve eaten. hands down. gluten or gluten-free diet, these are my favorites.

i’ve wanted something to dip my veggies in for quite a while. i happened to have tahini in my fridge from a previous dip recipe i’d tried and not fully enjoyed. but tahini doesn’t do me any good just sitting on the shelf of my refrigerator staring at me.
remember when i taught you how to make coconut butter? now, before i give you the recipes for these bad boys, you need to go cut up a really tart granny smith apple. dunk it in your freshly made coconut butter. isn’t that just the most delicious combo?!
it may look like dirt. but i promise, it’s clean. i can’t remember how i stumbled upon this recipe idea, but am i ever glad that i did. i wasn’t a big milk and cereal eater, pre-gluten/grain-free days, but i do like cereal. and sometimes i just need an easy go-to for breakfast. this is a […]
